12 Jan 2019 : Properly commemorating one of the greatest artists of all time...

Transatlantic Bowie' live @ Wylam Brewery with the Transatlantic Ensemble

Part 1. TRANSATLANTIC BOWIE

JANUARY 12, 2019 @ 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM @ Wylam Brewery

After selling out last year's event in record time, ‘TRANSATLANTIC BOWIE’ is back, with the Transatlantic Ensemble (live).

They are headlining part 1 of our annual David Bowie commemoration celebration’s @ Wylam Brewery on Saturday 12th January.

Demand was so great last year that we tried to put a Summer show together but couldn’t get the dates for it. But now the wait is finally over & tickets for this one are going to fly out…

THE TRANSATLANTIC ENSEMBLE PRESENT – ‘TRANSATLANTIC BOWIE’

The Transatlantic Ensemble are a top group of crack London session musicians, who pay homage to some of the greatest artists & albums there have ever been…

Unless you’ve been living in a cave (in the woods?) you’ll probably have seen this crew presenting their record-breaking ‘Rumours’ show, generating multiple, now almost legendary dates with us at the Brewery.

Their musicianship is absolutely out of this world & ‘TRANSATLANTIC BOWIE’ is their favourite show, of all the many gigs they do…

All of David’s biggest hits will be played & the band are bringing their full brass section, to do his back-catalogue proper justice.

This is a true homage, delivered with real integrity to David’s original recordings & with the Transatlantics focusing solely on his amazing music & that alone…

So don’t expect them to waltz around the stage, pretending to be him, or attempt to poorly replicate his accent, costumes or iconic looks...

We don’t get involved with any kind of pot-bellied, under-rehearsed ‘tribute’ bands – the like of which you see being rolled out & hawked about, in pound-stretcher slap & nylon Ziggy wigs…

‘TRANSATLANTIC BOWIE’ is the opposite of all that…

This is all about David’s music & the Transatlantic’s don’t pretend, they deliver..!

Whether it's for a cool Xmas present, or just a fab night out don't hang about on tickets for this amazing musical experience.!

Tickets on sale now from the link below & they won't last long... x

Part 2 - The Afterparty @ WHQ

As he does every year, Tommy will be playing a solo, all Bowie set after the Wylam concert over @ WHQ Club 11-4am.

A must for all David fans & when you hear 'Station to Station' through the WHQ ‘Soundsystem of Dreams’- trust us - You’ll know all about it..!

Tickets for the afterparty are available from the separate event page @ welovewhq.com, so make like David & an epic night of it x.

*Please note...

As with all shows at Wylam Brewery, there may be some element of flashing lighting in use, at certain points during the live performance.

Onstage times are a guide & even as hard as we try, they may vary slightly (in the unlikely event crazy stuff happens unexpectedly on the night).

We expect this show to sell out in advance & due to our contract with the Band’s management, tickets can only be refunded once / if / that does happen & we have people waiting on the returns list that Debbie can sell your tickets on to (& you contact her prior to the day of the show).

So please plan ahead & only purchase this ticket if you intend to attend the show.

Please also bear in mind that if we hear of anyone trying to resell our tickets on the black market, we will let Ronnie the WHQ dog, loose on them (at a time when she is very, very hungry...)

If you have ticketing, or any other enquiries, please e mail (everyone's best pal) Debbie at our office on info@welovewhq.com.

This is an all standing / dancing event & we are all going to be 'Heroes' x.
