Sisu Presents: DJ Course

Introduction

Sisu is an artistic community providing a platform for female-identifying artists in electronic music. Diversifying male-dominated industries and building accessible creative spaces through DJ courses, events, radio shows, DJ residencies and an online mix series.

The Sisu DJ course aims to teach the skills needed to DJ from scratch, the classes are small ensuring that there is a very hands-on practical approach to the sessions. We provide access to industry-standard equipment and providing a course structure and workbook at the beginning of the journey, whilst also tailoring the course to suit your needs.

Sisu's holistic approach to teaching DJ'ing has unfolded many success stories from course participants having played at Fabric London, hosted their own events, played gigs abroad, radio shows and even full circle tutored on the DJ course!

Previous tutors include A-Bee, Breakwave, Chantel, Coco Cole, Dutchie, Flic, Holly, Jasmin, Lauryn, Lusinda, Malissa, Meach, Michelle Monetti, Nettles, Phoebe Valentine, Violent Blondes and many more exciting tutors to come!

Previous venues include: The Cause (London), World Headquarters (Newcastle), Southbank Centre (London), Kitchen Street (Liverpool), Cellar Tapes (Bristol) and many more come!

As well as being able to purchase a ticket for the full DJ course, we now have the option to join the course at your relevant level of expertise; the course is divided into Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced classes too. Tickets for the full DJ course (beg + int) can be purchased at a discounted rate.
