Darkmode has been a proponent of high-paced Techno music for nigh on a decade. Having made a name for himself on the Techno scene in Newcastle, his early music productions grabbed the attention of the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Radioactive Man, Regis and DJ Bone, after his initial release ‘The DATA EP’ on Testin Out Records.
Darkmode rapidly gained a name for himself over the years as a DJ as well, becoming top pick in DJ MAG’s Pick N’ Mix in 2006, and he was was runner up in IDJ Magazine’s Raw Talent Selection in March 2007 & December 2009.
He has played at a range of parties, raves and festivals across the UK & Ireland over the years, acting as strong support for artists such as Radioactive Man, Ben Long, Phil Kieran, Marco Bailey, Ignition Technician, Bas Mooy, DJ 3000, Scan 7 and Dave Clarke.
His music releases and his own label, Biotech Recordings, continue to gather him considerable support.

Oliver Carloni (Throne Records/Funk'n Deep)
From the depths of the UK’s northern music scene, Oliver emerged as a front runner among DJ’s for festivals and nightclubs alike, with much of the credit coming from his solid determination and relentless enthusiasm. Known for his deeper sounds whilst still maintaining the key ability to be versatile among the underground scene, Oliver has held down some well sought after residencies, the main of which being the infamous Digital (Newcastle).
Oliver has further pursued his passion for music by launching the innovative record label – Throne Room Records, showcasing both local and global talent. With his 3- strong team, Oliver has managed to gain Radio 1 plays for the label along with support from artists such as Mark Knight, Groove Armada, Richy Ahmed, Dosem, Doorly and many more.
Whether he’s playing live, producing in the studio or behind the label, Oliver sits firmly on his Throne in the UK’s underground scene.

VERV (Oculus recordings)
Music that gets people moving... VERV is a up and coming Minimal/Techno producer DJ originating from the musical talent hotbed of the North East.
First getting into electronic music when he was 14 it was a natural progression to want to be the guy in the booth doing these amazing things to people on the dance floor. Learning to mix on turntables at his mates house he knew it was the path he must follow and so invested in some decks a couple of years later! He has been mastering his art for close to 10 years now and creating his own productions for 6 years.
After carving his own unique sound into the deeper, darker side of techno he has now started releasing his music gaining huge support and inspiration from some of his favourite artists including Richie Hawtin, Fabio Florido, Dubfire, Stiv Hey, Paco Osuna, Rafa Siles, Rosper, Damien Fisher, Nuno Lisboa and Carlo Ruetz to name just a few!
Having played at some of Newcastle biggest nights VERV now looks to share his sound with the wider music community.

Mark Robson (Resonance)
Starting off from a downtempo set to a more of a middle of a night set to more heavier and energetic 4am sound, Mark can start off as well as finish a night. Working hard to practice DJ'ing he produces as well. Building some knowledge while doing a Midi course at Newcastle College at College a couple of years ago. Mark shows he is dedicated and hard working when it comes to music. Heavily influenced by the Minneapolis Dj's such as Dustin Zahn, Truncate and DVS1. Mark's delivers the hard groove sound coming from the States as well as incorporating the more European Techno sound.

Ryan Lambert
A DJ who has built his reputation in the Newcastle scene under the alias of K9 working with Monta will be joining Resonance to play a Techno set. Playing to capacity crowds and producing everything from Trance to Techno.
