THE POLICE - 'GREATEST HITS STRUNG UP'

This time it's 'The Police' who are up for a top notch re work. We've put together an outstanding band, featuring yet more of our amazing, London session musician chums, who'll be rocking out, with a full string section accompaniment, in a ten piece, fully live extravaganza.

The Police were such an iconic band & their use of melody, simplicity & space, always caught our ears as young kids. They racked up hit after hit, leaving a real treasure trove of really classic, great songs for us to now mine, reinvigorate, revisit & expand with the colour & warmth of added strings.

Thinking back, they recorded so many belters, that we are honestly spoiled for choice with this show..!

You already know all the songs & you know you can 100% trust us that the musicianship will be totally locked & almost beyond belief..!

So keep Sunday May 6th free in your diary for a proper, high quality trip down memory lane & another great weekend night out at the Brewery.

Monday's Bank Holiday, so it's a day off for the whole city & it's just as well..!

Doors to the Great Hall open at 7.00 pm, Tommy Caulker is on DJ duties  & the band will be onstage shortly after 8.00 pm.

As with all shows at Wylam Brewery, there may be some element of flashing lighting in use, at certain points during the live performance.

Onstage times are a guide & even as hard as we try, they may vary slightly (in the unlikely event crazy stuff happens unexpectedly on the night).

We expect this show to sell out & due to our contract with the Band’s management, tickets can only be refunded if that does happen & we have people waiting on the returns list that Debbie can sell your tickets on to & you contact her prior to the day of the show. So please plan ahead & only purchase this ticket if you intend to attend the show.
