After much anticipation, Heavy Salad proudly presents its debut liquid drum and bass event: Keeno and Nectax plus support.

Heavy Salad strive to bring the best in liquid drum and bass to the North East and what better way to do that, than to invite heavyweight Bristol producer, Keeno and rising star, Nectax into WHQ for a night of top tier liquid.

Keeno – (Hospital Records - Med School)

As well as being one of our favourite producers and part of Hospital Record’s imprint label Med School, Keeno is an incredibly well respected among the liquid community. His unique combination of full orchestral ensembles and powerful basslines make him one of the most impressive producers in the entirety of the dance music genre. His skill is demonstrated across his vast numbers of releases and perhaps most notably in his album, All The Shimmering Things, which ranges from delicate, beautifully put together vocal tracks such as, Is This the Way? (Feat. Abbie Rose), and hard hitting tunes such as Hidden Peaks. We can’t wait to enjoy what Keeno has to offer in an exclusive two hour set in the Toons WHQ.

Nectax – (Serial Killaz)

Its fair to say that over the past few years Nectax has been causing a serious storm across the entirety of the drum and bass scene. With releases on Serial Killaz and support from drum and bass heavy weights such as, Kings of The Rollers, Kanine, Benny Page and many more its fair to say that the future is looking bright for Neccy. Recently, Nectax released his Paradox EP which offers a variety of jungle flavours as well the widely loved tracks, Greedo, Hologram and One More Sunset, which is very special 160bpm liquid track. We’re extremely excited to welcome Nectax into WHQ for an exclusive liquid set, as we’re sure he’ll bring the vibe.
