We're rolling in with another wicked season in 2016, kicking things off in January with the Grime legend that is Wiley before February sees us celebrate our second birthday with two special shows. Part 1 with Kahn, Sir Spyro & Elf Kid and Part 2 with DJ Champion and a secret headliner TBA. After 3 amazing shows like that we thought we'd have to end the term with something extra extra special so we've invited along a true legend of Grime, Mr. D Double E of Newham Generals alongside Manchester DnB kings, Dub Phizix & Strategy.

‘The Greatest Grime MC of All Time’, ‘the most legendary Grime MC’ and ‘the MC’s MC.’ These are titles that could only have been bestowed upon one person. D Double E’s distinctive style, character and flow has seen a career span three decades, real legendary status. He is also one half of ‘Newham Generals’ with his long time partner in crime, Footsie. He'll be headlining the Grime Room downstairs alongside our fine Pirate Material residents!

The creator of a new style of Drum and Bass music that fuzes influences from all corners of the globe, Manchester based Drum & Bass producer Dub Phizix began his obsession with music over 20 years ago. By 10 years into his career, Dub Phizix was an accomplished producer having made music in a variety of styles for MTV, BBC and Nokia. Forward to today and Dub Phizix is releasing music on his own SenkaSonic label and other respected outlets such as Exit, Soul:R and Critical, with Mixmag calling his music 'Essential material'. He'll be headlining the DnB room upstairs along with partner in crime Strategy and some of the finest DnB DJs in the north east!
