We’re back at WHQ on Bank Holiday Sunday 27th August for our annual late summer special celebrating the finest in 30 Years of Classic House, Trance, Garage and Ibiza Anthems like only we know how. With our first ever two floor show at the start of August proving a total sell-out before midnight with 600 ravers on the Worldies dancefloor we strongly advise sorting your ticket out nice and early!
Whether you’re one of our hundreds of regulars or thinking of coming down for the first time, we can assure we’ll be throwing a celebration of classic dance music you won’t find anywhere else in Newcastle… so why not wander slightly off the beaten track and join us at World HQ for 5 hours you won’t forget in a hurry. Our long-time resident DJ’s L. Scott and BuBBa (Stuart Nurse) will once again be providing an eclectic mix of tunes, delving deep into 30 years of classic dance – whether it is the early rumblings of Chicago house right through to the chart topping UK garage bangers and crossover trance floorfillers of the 90’s and noughties – we’ll make our way through a bit of everything.
As always, along with the tunes, the amazing World HQ soundsystem and the friendliest crowd of ravers in Newcastle, we’ll also be bringing in club décor and our full laser lighting and smoke system – hopefully transporting you all a little closer to the dancefloors of Ibiza!
